A milky substance produced by worker bees, royal jelly is the source of many hormones important for the development of future queens. It contains proteins, minerals, lipids and glucides, and large amounts of the B-vitamin pantothenic acid. As a food for humans, it has numerous benefits. Case da Sole began producing fresh royal jelly in 2005.

Propolis is a mixture of gums and resins collected by bees, then modified by the insects' salival secretions. It has antibiotic and healing properties and is a well-known anti-inflammatory. We collect our propolis using metal grills placed inside the hives. |

flower pollen Pollen is collected by bees and stored in "baskets" on their back legs. We use a simple trap fitted to the hive entrance to knock the pollen grains from the baskets and into a tray. | | swarms, families
